About Marques Photography

I’m Matt, a professional photographer based in Bunbury, specialising in real estate photography, architectural photography and commercial photography. With over 10 years of professional experience, I capture homes, commercial properties and interiors across the South West of Western Australia, including Busselton, Dunsborough, Margaret River and Perth.

My passion for photography started in childhood, using up every disposable camera I could find in my uncle’s photography studio, much to his loving frustration. After years of exploring different photography styles and developing my skills, I turned that passion into a full-time career in 2016.

Originally from New Jersey, I grew up in the shadow of New York City, inspired by its energy, architecture and creative culture. After moving to Western Australia in 2018, I found my niche in real estate and commercial photography, combining my love for the craft with a focus on showcasing properties at their best.

From residential real estate photography to architectural and interior photography, my approach centres on thoughtful composition, lighting and attention to detail. Whether I’m photographing a home in Bunbury, a holiday property in Dunsborough or a commercial space in Perth, my goal is to create images that capture the character of the property and make a strong first impression.

Photography has always been more than a business to me. I’m constantly refining my craft, exploring new techniques and finding ways to improve. On my days off, you’ll often find me exploring nature with a camera in hand or on the golf course, where progress is a little less reliable.
